How do I contact you?

When is check in time:

You can check in after 15:00. If the room is ready, you will be able to check in straight away.

If you arrive early, you can leave your luggage in the lockers in our communal areas. Just bring your own padlock or buy one at reception for €3.


When is check out time:

You can check out until 11:00. After this time, you are still able to use our facilities and lockers.


Can I check in after midnight?

Yes, you can, we have a 24h reception.


What is Tourist Tax?

Tourist tax serves to contribute to the implementation for the consolidation of Faro as an attractive, sustainable and accessible tourist destination.

The Tourist tax is applied to all guests over the age of 12 and up to a maximum of 7 nights. The rates are €1,50 per person per night. This tax is paid for at check in, we do not charge this before arrival.


Do I have to pay a key deposit?

Yes, this is €5 per set of keys, and refundable at check out.


Can I stay if I am under 18 years old?

Minors may not share a room with other guests. Any minor must be accompanied by a responsible adult and stay in a private room.


Are there lockers in the rooms?

Yes, each bed in dorms have a locker assigned to it and we will give you a key at check in.


Do I need to bring sheets or a sleeping bag?

No need, all the beds are made with clean sheets and ready when you arrive.


Are towels available?

Yes, we have towels for a €3 deposit plus a €2 fee. You can change the towel during your stay if needed and you will receive the €3 back once you return the towel.


Do you have laundry service?

Yes, it is €3 to use the washing machine, and you can hang the clothes on our rooftop after washing. In case of rain you are welcome to use the dryer for €3.


Do you have breakfast?

We don’t serve any meals. But we have free coffee and tea in the kitchen.


Can I send a package to the hostel?

If you need to receive a package, just let us know. We will keep it for you at the reception.


I forgot something at the hostel, how do I get it back?

We keep all objects we find for a month. If you have lost something, send us a message or an email with details of the item. If you wish us to send it to you, we will just need your details and payment for the shipping costs.


Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. No American Express.


Do you accept group reservations?

We do indeed, just send an email to hello@tiliahostel.com with dates, numbers and any extra information and we will send you a quote.
